CITA Appoints Five New Trustees
London, 18th February 2019 – The Charity IT Association (CITA) has strengthened its Board of Trustees by announcing the appointment of five new Trustee Board Members.
The additions of Gordon Walker, Ian Henderson, Dominic Aslan, Andy Simpson and Giles Hill mean that CITA now boasts a 10-strong Board of Trustees with responsibility for governing and directing the Charity.
“We are delighted to welcome Gordon, Ian, Dominic, Andy and Giles to CITA’s Board of Trustees” said David Rippon, Chair of CITA. “Between them the new Trustees bring a wealth of relevant experience to CITA, ranging from their work with other Charities, large corporations, the armed forces and the broader IT industry. This expertise will be immensely valuable as CITA strides confidently into the future.”
CITA matches skilled IT volunteers to Charities with IT needs, to achieve its vision of empowering Charities to harness the full potential of technology to increase their impact for good. It offers three distinct services: Tech Surgery, IT Consultancy and IT Project Delivery.
Since its launch in January 2016, CITA has helped over 600 UK Charities benefit from the use of IT. CITA now has more than 600 approved volunteers who have provided free resources with an estimated value of over £800,000.
