As the technology age continues to dominate all of our lives, the use of technology by charities in the delivery of their services is increasingly more important, not only to reach and help more people but to make your resources go further.

After 5 exciting years of delivering IT projects through the iT4Communities programme, AbilityNet believed that the future of their initiative could be best secured and served by having the programme join a wider IT initiative built specifically to support charities.

Therefore AbilityNet agreed to transfer iT4Communities to the Charity IT Association (CITA) where our sole purpose is to provide a range of IT related services, from strategy to project delivery, to assist your use of IT.

Are you an IT volunteer?

CITA volunteers provide advice to help charities make better use of technology.

Are you a charity?

The iT4Communities programme will be incorporated within CITA as a service called ‘IT Project Delivery’.

This service will enable UK registered charities to request volunteer resource for their projects in the same way iT4Communities helped source IT volunteers.

Browse the website of CITA to find out more and when you are ready you can sign up as a volunteer or a charity.
